Welcome to my newest brainchild, the Nuzzies. No, they aren't usually like this. In fact, most Nuzzies are singular creatures. Twins are rare, and usually they are a result of faulty genetics in this race. Generally, twins born to the Nuzzies are joined at the head. They have their own minds, but they know each others thoughts. Also, if the connection is severed, both will die due to the major arteries flowing through the connection. For this reason, those twins that survive growing up will generally get some sort of protective covering for the connection. This particular pair was fortunate enough to get a custom made helmet. The front bubble opens so they can eat, there are sound/air vents on each side, and the interlocking parts make it easier to disassemble.

Nuzzies are sentient beings, relatively intelligent, and kind hearted. Their fronts, faces, and lower arms are covered in fur. Their backs are covered in hard scales. With this design, they can usually curl up armadillo-style for protection. Obviously, for Nuzzie twins, this is not an option.

This pair seems to be in a bit of trouble, taking their expressions into consideration. Perhaps we will see more of the Nuzzie twins later?
